Alto Adige, Italy.

First stop, Italy! Alto Adige is a wine region situated on the stunning Italian Alps, bordered by Switzerland and Austria. With heavy influence from it’s German and Italian speaking neighbours, Alto Adige wines incorporate both rich, Tuscan-style red wines as well as Germanic white wines. The region is most famous for their aromatic dry white wines, those including Pinot Grigo and Gewürztraminer. Alto Adige is the perfect wine focused Italian getaway, with over 270 wineries to explore – as well as the highest concentration of Michelin Stars in all of Italy!

Western Cape, South Africa.

Heading towards one of the world’s younger wine producing regions, South Africa’s Western Cape has spectacular wineries to offer! Otherwise known as the Cape Winelands, the region produces a wide range of wines, from tannic Cabernet Sauvignon to sweeter wines like Chenin Blanc. Situated just an hour east from Cape Town, the Cape Winelands is the largest wine producing region in South Africa, and offers some of the most uniquely beautiful landscapes in the world, where vineyards meet the jagged mountainscapes of the Cape Fold range.

Napa Valley, USA.

Napa Valley, located north of San Francisco in California, is the USA’s largest producing and most renowned wine region. California’s Napa Valley is known for its incredible wine tourism experience – it’s filled with wineries, Michelin-starred restaurants and luxury hotels. Cabernet Sauvignon is the wine the region is most famous for, however, Napa Valley viticulture produces a wide range of varieties, including Chardonnay, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blan and Zinfandel. With over 500 wineries and 16 unique sub-regions, you will have plenty of wine tasting to do in the Napa Valley!
