Unwind At The Emirates One&Only Wolgan Valley
Venture the canyons of the World Heritage listed Greater Blue Mountain Region at the Emirates One&Only Wolgan Valley. The resort is nestled within an expansive 2,800 hectare conservancy, located on Australia’s Great Dividing Range between the Wollemi National Park and the Gardens of Stone National Park in NSW. The resort maintains a truly authentic taste of the countryside, yet is just three hours from Sydney.
Guests can arrive at the resort via a private chauffeur car service, or join an unforgettable private helicopter service over Sydney and the Blue Mountains to the resort.
One&Only Wolgan Valley resides on a land rich in history. It is the land of the Wiradjuri people, and shares a rich settlement history. The original farmhouse built has been maintained on the property since 1832, and has seen the likes of Charles Darwin during his trip to Australia in 1836.
The Homestead’s accompanying garden has also been maintained, which today provides fresh, organic supplies to the kitchen, enabling an array of seasonal dining throughout the year. Headed by renowned Australian chef James Viles, One&Only’s restaurants produce completely unique, locally sourced a la carte menus from the Blue Mountains and surrounding regions of Orange, Mudgee and the Hunter Valley. Chef James Viles describes One&Only’s menus as “crafted with honesty, purity and a true sense of place, and reflect the seasons of this beautiful valley”.
For those who enjoy exploring the countryside, roam the canyons atop one of the resort’s beautiful horses, or venture the reserve by 4WD, or explore on foot with the resort’s tailored vibrant bush walks focused on bush ecology, wildlife and cultural heritage. The resort also offers incredible nocturnal wildlife-spotting expeditions and colonial heritage tours. All the extraordinary experiences offered by the resort cater to the needs of families, couples and individuals alike.
One&Only also forms a holistic wellness retreat, emphasising natural health and balance. The resort has six private spas, each including private baths and spa facilities, steam rooms and saunas. Private and group yoga classes are also included at the retreat, performed amongst the stunning slopes and peaks of the Greater Blue Mountains.
